Kill Your Darlings is a series of works derived from the destruction and rebuilding of a series of portraits from an earlier project, #FacesofHamilton.  The previous, individual portraits are reimagined here into a new, composite work; each person becomes connected to others, each piece in the series is a portrait of a piece of my community. Relationships and connections are required to complete the new work. Together, this becomes a new portrait of a place of people; connected and dependent; rich with variety and surprises.
